Herman’s latest work “Mechanism of surface passivation of methylammonium lead tribromide single crystals by benzylamine” has now been published as part of a first set of original research reports in Applied Physics Reviews.

Amongst other aspects, Herman found that treating the perovskite surface with a molecule known to improve the perfomance of solar cells can also form two-dimensional perovskite phases on top of the sample. For a brief summary, also consider the press release found here.
